Normally an old person is driving the S, the reason is of course its the most comfortable. CL63 does indeed look very nice and special.

yea in this case, that’s true, but don’t forget that E60 M5 posted also 8:13 also. there are tracks out there that C63 was faster than the m3, not just the one I mentioned before, so overall, average times, do not translate to the c63 amg being “destroyed” like some want to claim.

I have an C63 AMG and my brother the M3 E92 but he is with the M3 faster than me!!
But only 0-100 Km/h we are same

A question, does merc use the exact same engine in cl63,s63,sl63 like the c63? I think they do, but why such a price difference between these cars? c63 is the best bargain and the fastest.

Look at the lap times on the nurburgring, the C63 did it in 8.13 and the m3 did it in 8.05. so thats 8 seconds faster and thats a lot if you ask me.

those of you saying that an M3 would “eat” the C63 at the track is wrong. Check any lap times, for example there was a huge comparison test between many sports cars and sedans on the Virginia International Raceway, (Car & Driver conducted it). C63 amg was right behind M3 DKG coupe; M3 posted 3:05.6 at 81.5 mph. C63 finished the lap in 3:06.5 at 81.1 mph. So yea, the M3 doesn’t exactly “destroy” the C63 at the track either.

BMW is still a better vehicle even if its “slower” in a straight line. As for raw numbers…. its a 4.0L vs. 6.3L… the difference in torque is really unfair… the Merc puts down almost 150 more ft-lbs compared to the M3, yet the M3 doesn’t let the C63 pull on it after 160kmh.
