This is funny. Every single company has a big fat lobbyist associated with it. maybe it is a GOOD thing that his sponsors are leaving his program.

Who else believes that the Slave Trade can happen again?

Friday Aug 13, 2010

Considering that blacks in the Western Hemisphere do not study nor know their history, they think "we have made it" and drive BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Cadillac. Slavery is happening now. McDonald’s, Rent-A-Center, Arab, Hispanic, Indian owned inner-city "bodegas" have black slaves. Newport, Salem, Colt 45, Olde English 800, Pay Day Loans have black slaves. Wal-Mart does as well. The biggest black plantation holder in the U.S.A. is the Democratic Party. By the way I am black and a Republican.

Slavery is not exclusive to Blacks, though it is still practiced (illegally) in Africa.
As far as I understand it, most of the outright slaves in the USA are now Asians and Hispanics imported illegally for this purpose; maybe they are more in the nature of indentured servants, but it is still slavery.
The political Party of Slavery, the Democratic Party, which opposed equality in the South before and after the Civil War, has indeed adapted itself to keeping Blacks in dependency, but in ways that are legal at this time.
As for a return of the "slave trade," it is done differently now. Instead of bringing the slaves to work, the work is more often taken to the slaves.
I like Ike too.

Are there any books about New York Fashion Week?

Sunday Aug 8, 2010

I am writing a paper on Mercedes Benz (New York) Fashion Week and I will need authoritative sources (so preferably no online sources, just print) but I can’t seem to find ANY books at all related to the history, process, and just detailed information about it. Help!

Sorry, so there there are no books. However if you print out your sources in MLA format, the profesional look will override any sort of prejudice your teacher has against online sources.

why do europeans make the best cars?

Monday Aug 2, 2010

porsche, audi, volkswagon, maybach,Mercedes Benz,Bmw, Smart Car, Lancia, Aston martin, Mclaren,Jaguar,Range Rover/Land Rover,

Lamborghini Know owned by audi. And audi is know mostly
owned by VW which is mostly owned by Porsche know
and Maybach and Mercedes are owned by the same head company for the most part

Ferrari is owned by European Giant Motor Company Fiat
and Fiat also owns Maserrati
so a lot of Ferrari’s and Masseratis are indencitaly in suspensison and engine and intetior designs. only Ferrari has a better history and the Ferrari family still owns massive amounts of shares of Ferrari and still runs their F1 team..

Also Most of the best Formula One Teams on Earth are all from Europe
Ferrari Scuderia-over 700 races
over 200 wins top places in almost 500

renault 1
Mclaren
and Mercedes know has the god of f1 michael schumacher

Americans Make Good Trucks And Suvs but they make terriable terriable car for car use. only Muscle cars were great. and GM is the only american company to be making better technology, the Corvette zr1 is faster than the ferrari enzo almost in a straight line and for a corvette handles the corners well on the nurburgring unlike other American Cars..And the Cadillac Cts V, Owns the bmw m5 in handiling and in speed and quality. it just lacks soul passion and interior

The best Asian Car company in my eyes
in terms of quality, performance, expenses and say royalty and actual brand owning. is Nissan
their Dominance with the Skylines is something else and the Infinit’s are not bad either
however they do not have the quality nor do they make some of the supper cars or really expensive dominating cars that Germans have put out or the Italians or the British
Asian Cars east asian at least. Make some terriable cars with exceptions o

agreed

Kia,Hyundai,Honda,Toyota,????
all jokes

of course they are all just medicore cars, with the purpose of Point a to point B
but in that case out of all of those get a toyota, they are the most reliable.
but thats its
typically ugly, bland, cheap, cheap interior, good priced, good on gas most of the time, but lack of quality. you but this car if you dont care for cars or car pefromance of dominance
Acura is alright but still lacks in so many qualitys

when is the last time you saw a Honda on 5th gear or top Gear???
while top gear has jermey clarckson who is a european brit
he does give credit to other foregin cars when its due

I will agree with you i really like Nissan
they are the only asian company to not be crappy for the most part
the Nissan Skyline gt-r is great for performance and for its price?? amazing
to find a Euro Car that can dominate the GTR you have to be a used older model of say a older s class mercedes or m series bmw or a amg mercedes. and or to beat the GTR with a new car you got to spend at least 70k on a euro car to beat it

and agreed
most Corvettes have terriable handiling
but the C6
and the improved zr1 despite being 100k
is amazing performance, the only reason i would not buy one is lack of quality inside, and the lack of quality that they put on desigin the car. the only Thoughout about its performance and its engine, why spend 100k on a car thats only good on performance with an oversized 6.2 liter ls9 supercharged v8?

its like why buy a ferrari enzo?
but than again the enzo beats out every car in the world with like 6 or 7 exceptions
but the enzo lacks in interior and all that
but than again its a supercar thus its price is excess of 300k

Honda Civics
you will suped up all the time
but a Stock Corvette typically owns that stuff
and a stock amg or M series
or stock Aston will destory all of that
than the rich sup up their Cars
imagine a suped up corvette zr1?
or a mercedes amg or m 5 which is bland or the m3?
it destorys all in its path and has the heart and interior and quality and perfromance

Most Mercedes will go up to 300k miles
and if the engine fails its better and cheaper to buy a new engine than a new car.

Mercedes-Benz.tv: In 60 seconds – Vision SLR

Thursday Jul 8, 2010

The Vision SLR was introduced to the world public in 1999, at the IAA in Frankfurt as a concept study of a supercar. Equipped with an 8-cylinder mid-engine, a car body made of carbon fibre and doors hung on the A-pillar, the vision disposed of all the details which make a sports car, a supercar. Six years later the vision became reality, in the form of the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren.

Which is a better choice?

Tuesday Jul 6, 2010

1988 Volvo 780 Bertone Coupe
*125,000 miles

1990 BMW 325i Sedan

*Automatic
*Full Service History
*Blue
*Needs A Good Detailing On Paint

(Or Similar)

Other Considerations:
Volvo 850
Saab 9-3 (1st Generation)
1994-1995 BMW 5-Series
1988-1994 BMW 7-Series
Mercedes-Benz 300E/260E/400E

I’m a European car guy, I’m not interested in Asian or Domestic Cars. (I know parts are more for my tastes, but I believe it’s worth it if I enjoy looking at a it and driving it.)
At the end I meant to say parts are more expensive but the cars are my taste and I enjoy them.

As someone who watches Craigslist very closely, I have learned to be very wary of Volvos.
It is too common to see Volvos as late as 2001-2004 with major problems such as needing
new transmissions, or other devastating repairs. I have concurred this information with Consumer
Reports who seem to hold Volvo (and Volkswagen) in low regard. My 1993 Ford van has over 200K on the engine
and has never needed a major repair, nothing, ever. So I say don’t go with Volvo. Personally
I like BMW.
