Is the 2003 Mercedes-Benz sl500 a good safe car?

I found a 2003 Mercedes-Benz SL500 hard top convertible and it looks pretty solid. Would I have any expected problems with it in general? I’ve seen it, it runs perfectly (no skips in the engine, functioning Nav System, Loaded Working Interior controls, etc.)

So, it looks cool, a real head turner. But, how safe is it? I can’t seem to find crash test ratings anywhere.

It is a Mercedes and Mercedes makes vehicle safety one of its top priorities. The SL is no exception. It has a lot of both passive and active safety technologies incorporated into its design.
