This is funny. Every single company has a big fat lobbyist associated with it. maybe it is a GOOD thing that his sponsors are leaving his program.

What are the cutest cars for a female teen driver?

Sunday Aug 22, 2010

I know nothing about cars but I like the Mercedes benz convertibles and minicoopers. But I want more options to choose from.. my first car can’t be too expensive, too. And I live in Texas, if that helps. Thanks a lot!

well, if you don’t want it to be too expensive then you probably won’t end up with a mercedes. maybe a mini if you find a good deal on one. I think a Prius is a good option for a first car. Go for an older model but not one of the first models; those are kinda ugly. If you want a newer car, go for a kia. You can get a newer model for pretty cheap. I have a Kia and it’s an awesome, reliable gas saver.

The origin of Replica TAG Heure Watches

Thursday Aug 19, 2010

Dated back from 1969, the TAG Heuer brand is a dominating presence in every motor-racing discipline, from the 24 Hours of Le Mans to the Indianapolis 500 to this year’s season-capping Race of Champions. Nowhere, however, is its preeminence more apparent – and more richly awarded – than in the high-octane world of Replica TAG Heuer Formula 1 watch One Grand Prix.

Auto racing — Formula One in particular — and watches are not strangers to each other. TAG Heuer has long capitalized on its partnership with motor sports — the Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton is one of TAG’s ambassadors — but its defining moment may have been when McQueen waved to the crowd at the endurance race in France, his Monaco timepiece in plain view.

As the pilot of a Porsche 917 in the film, part of which was shot during the 1970 24 Hours of Le Mans, McQueen strove for authenticity, and among the drivers he studied for his role was Jo Siffert, a Swiss driver. Siffert was paid to wear Heuer watches, so McQueen adopted one as well. “The Monaco’s starring role on the actor’s wrist helped create its legend,” Mr. Heuer said, “but it was the chronograph’s radical look and its complete break with tradition that made it stand out.”

TAG Heuer’s current dream team of F1 ambassadors are Scuderia Ferrari F1 driver and 2007 F1 World Champion Kimi Räikkönen, Vodafone McLaren Mercedes F1 driver Heikki Kovalainen and, at the head of the pack, Lewis Hamilton, the 2008 F1 World Champion. Worthy bearers of the TAG Heuer mantle, they relentlessly pursue perfection, both on the track and in the award-winning R&D labs of TAG Heuer.

TAG Heuer Formula 1 Grande Date

Lewis Hamilton’s watch this season is directly inspired by the superlative Monte Carlo dashboard chronograph produced by Heuer in the 1960s. The sporty and casual watches is equipped with the six legendary TAG Heuer features — “Easy Grip” screw-in crown; scratch-resistant titanium carbide-coated unidirectional turning steel bezel with raised fine-brushed figures; water-resistance to 200 meters; luminescent index and hands; scratch-resistant sapphire crystal; bracelet with double safety clasp and extension — in an oversized case (44mm). On the dial: handy “Grande Date” window and small second at 6 o’clock. Two elegant versions are available: black dial with superluminova white indexes and numbers or full superluminova white dial with black indexes and numerals. Built for speed and style, this race-inspired beauty is a champion.

Replica TAG Heuer Formula 1 Calibre Chronograph

Worn by F1’s fastest and finest, the TAG Heuer Formula 1 Calibre S 1/100th Chronograph is the world’s easiest-to-read sports chronograph, thanks to a TAG Heuer-patented electro-mechanical movement that displays time and chronograph functions with 100th of a second accuracy on its central hour, minute and second hands. The dial has two “retrograde” semi-circular counters at 4:30 and 7:30. In CHRONO mode, the exclusive movement’s micromotors show simple, intermediate and split times; in Hour mode, the retrograde date display features a perpetual calendar good till 2099. The elegant design — 44mm case, black titanium-carbide coated unidirectional turning bezel, crown and pushbuttons, black dial with luminescent numbers and markers, black rubber strap or steel bracelet — is backed up with high-grade TAG Heuer engineering and functionality. Individually tested for water resistance to a depth rating of 200 meters, the TAG Heuer Formula 1 Calibre S 1/100th Chronograph is a rugged and versatile competitor.

TAG Heuer Formula One Watches were designed to keep true to the racing tradition TAG Heuer has set in the industry. Formula One, or F1 races are an eternal part of our culture, and this series, which pays homage to the Indy 500, epitomizes such greatness. From their inception, to the new ladies diamond versions sponsored by Maria Sharapova, were released in 2007 & and a more expanded selection of mens models in 2008, this classic line offers a wide range of styles, sizes and colors combinations for both mens and womens watches.

What’s the difference between the Mercedes E-Class sport and E-class luxury?

Tuesday Aug 17, 2010

And is it worth spending an extra $7000 on the E550 over the E350?

The E550 features a 382-bhp 5.5L V-8 engine, and is basically the sportier model.
The E350 features a 268-bhp 3.5L V-6 engine, and as far as is listed on the Mercedes-Benz USA website, has a very similar option set to the E550.

The V-8 E550 will be much faster; however, it will not handle as well in the rain and snow due to the power increase (and despite the 4Matic AWD system). If you’re worried about winter and can afford the luxury options on the E350 4Matic, that is probably your best choice. However, if you live in a warmer climate, the E550 will come with extra luxury items as standard and will be more fun to drive. Also, both trim levels come with some form of advanced active suspension system that includes "SPORT" and "COMFORT" modes.

Which sports Mercedes is cool?

Friday Aug 13, 2010

I am in search of a sports car to buy. Leaning towards a sports Mercedes. Which one do you think is cool?
Anything below 50K for new.
is CLK 320 cool?

Ahh my favorite cars. My dad had a 2005 s55 amg, amazingly fast, super quiet, very luxurious. He just traded it in to get the 2010 c63 amg, and there is a big difference (besides it being half the price). It has insane handling and a blast to accelerate and drive around corners. Either way each class has its own AMG version, e63, s63/5, cl63/5, sl63/5 etc..it all depends on what you’re looking for. If the money isnt there for the AMGs then go for a c350 which is pretty quick, any sl class, possibly cl. Its hard to give advice because you didnt give any preferences or price range

EDIT:
Ya the clks are cool. Theyre some of the quicker and better handling of the bunch. Theyre also very easy to pimp out and made to look even cooler

Who else believes that the Slave Trade can happen again?

Friday Aug 13, 2010

Considering that blacks in the Western Hemisphere do not study nor know their history, they think "we have made it" and drive BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Cadillac. Slavery is happening now. McDonald’s, Rent-A-Center, Arab, Hispanic, Indian owned inner-city "bodegas" have black slaves. Newport, Salem, Colt 45, Olde English 800, Pay Day Loans have black slaves. Wal-Mart does as well. The biggest black plantation holder in the U.S.A. is the Democratic Party. By the way I am black and a Republican.

Slavery is not exclusive to Blacks, though it is still practiced (illegally) in Africa.
As far as I understand it, most of the outright slaves in the USA are now Asians and Hispanics imported illegally for this purpose; maybe they are more in the nature of indentured servants, but it is still slavery.
The political Party of Slavery, the Democratic Party, which opposed equality in the South before and after the Civil War, has indeed adapted itself to keeping Blacks in dependency, but in ways that are legal at this time.
As for a return of the "slave trade," it is done differently now. Instead of bringing the slaves to work, the work is more often taken to the slaves.
I like Ike too.
